Sales
for the 30 weeks ended September 1, 2001, increased 7.4% to $1.249 billion from
$1.163 billion for the 30 weeks ended August 26, 2000. The company's same store
sales decreased 3.7% for the 30 weeks ended September 1, 2001. Retail
